A CAT 6 cable for analog or HD cctv cameras. The CAT6 better suit for IP cameras. The reason is very simple. Analogue cameras transmit analogue signals which are best transmitted over a coaxial cable. If you use CAT6 cables, because of the twists and turns in the cable the signals doesn’t travel efficiently and they suffer signal loss. This results in the low-quality video at the receiver end.
